Kuala Lumpur, 14 July 2026 – Malaysia’s Court of Appeal has unanimously upheld a 2022 High Court ruling that found former WCT Bhd deputy managing director Goh Chin Liong and Ara Holdings Sdn Bhd director Leong Ah Chai liable for insider trading.
The appellate court also affirmed orders requiring the two defendants to pay a combined RM5.83 million to the Securities Commission Malaysia for breaches of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007.
