Kuala Lumpur, 13 July 2026 – PETRONAS LNG Ltd has signed a seven-year liquefied natural gas supply agreement with Japan’s Shizuoka Gas Co Ltd, reinforcing Malaysia’s position as a reliable long-term energy partner for one of Asia’s largest LNG-consuming markets.
Under the sale and purchase agreement, the PETRONAS subsidiary will supply approximately 0.84 million tonnes of LNG over seven years beginning in 2032. The financial value of the contract was not disclosed.
