Tokyo, 5 November 2026 – Sony Group Corporation raised its full-year operating profit forecast after second-quarter operating earnings climbed 45% to JPY 622.3 billion, helped by stronger games and film results. The Japanese group now expects operating profit of JPY 1.87 trillion for the year ending 31 March 2027, up from its July forecast of JPY 1.72 trillion.
