Kuala Lumpur, 22 July 2026 – The ringgit strengthened against the US dollar and a broad range of major and regional currencies as higher crude oil prices improved sentiment towards Malaysia’s energy-linked economy.
At 6pm, the local currency closed at 4.0850/4.0890 against the US dollar, compared with 4.0870/4.0910 in the preceding session.
