Singapore, 30 October 2026 – Singapore Exchange chief executive Loh Boon Chye is preparing to step down after more than 11 years at the helm, with his contract due to expire in mid-July 2027 and no departure date set. The transition has drawn attention to other long-serving leaders at Straits Times Index companies, including UOB’s Wee Ee Cheong, Singapore Airlines’ Goh Choon Phong, Keppel’s Loh Chin Hua and ST Engineering’s Vincent Chong. SGX reported FY2026 adjusted net profit of S1.48 billion.
