Hartalega Q1 Profit Surges Sixfold to RM70 Million as Prices and Efficiency Improve

Kuala Lumpur, 4 August 2026 – Hartalega Holdings Berhad opened its 2027 financial year with a sharp earnings recovery as higher average selling prices, operational efficiencies and reduced foreign-exchange losses lifted profitability despite continuing pressure across the global glove market.

Profit after tax for the first quarter ended 30 June 2026 climbed to approximately RM70 million from RM12 million in the corresponding period last year. Profit before tax increased more than sixfold to RM90.5 million from RM14.3 million.
