Kuala Lumpur, 20 October 2026 – Maybank Investment Bank Berhad maintained its buy recommendation on Solarvest Holdings Berhad and raised its target price to RM5.68 from RM4.31, citing the company’s record in securing about 30% of Malaysia’s current solar construction jobs. The research house pointed to an estimated RM20 billion to RM25 billion of additional contracts expected to enter the market.
For Malaysian investors, the upgrade frames Solarvest as a potential beneficiary of construction demand under the Corporate Renewable Energy Supply Scheme and the sixth Large Scale Solar programme between 2027 and 2029. The target price and contract pipeline are analyst estimates, not guaranteed returns or awarded revenue. Share performance will depend on tender wins, project margins, execution and the valuation investors are willing to pay.
