Bursa Malaysia 1H2026 Profit Rises 15.2% as Trading and IPO Activity Accelerate

Kuala Lumpur, 30 July 2026 – Bursa Malaysia Berhad reported stronger earnings for the first half of 2026 as increased securities trading, higher listing fees and sustained initial public offering activity reinforced the resilience of Malaysia’s capital market.

Operating revenue rose 19.6% year on year to RM411.7 million, driven mainly by higher securities average daily trading value and listing-related income. Profit after tax and minority interests increased 15.2% to RM144.6 million, while return on equity improved to 35% from 30% in the corresponding period of 2025.
