PETALING JAYA: Plywood manufacturer Annum Bhd is scheduled for delisting from the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia on August 12, following the rejection of its request for an extension to submit its regularisation plan by the stock exchange’s regulator.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company, which is classified under Practice Note 17 (PN17), stated that while it will no longer be listed, it will continue to operate as an unlisted entity.
“The company can still carry on with its operations, corporate restructuring, and may continue to reward its shareholders based on its performance,” the filing noted. “However, shareholders will hold shares that are no longer quoted or traded on Bursa Securities.”
Annum, formerly known as Cymao Holdings Bhd, was required to submit a regularisation plan after being deemed financially distressed in May 2024. This followed a disclaimer of opinion on its audited financial statements for the 18 months ending June 30, 2023, by its former auditor, Messrs SBY Partners PLT.
