Sungai Petani, 15 July 2026 – EG Industries Berhad has secured a new collaboration expected to generate approximately US$100 million in revenue, strengthening the Malaysian electronics manufacturing group’s expansion into artificial intelligence networking, cloud computing and next-generation data centre infrastructure.
The group said its subsidiary, Genetronic (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, has entered into a Letter of Intent with a United States-based global provider of open networking solutions for the manufacture and sale of high-performance open networking switches incorporating state-of-the-art Co-Packaged Optics technology.
