Malaysia Retains Southeast Asia IPO Lead as Mega Listings Lift Proceeds

Kuala Lumpur, 14 July 2026 – Malaysia remained Southeast Asia’s leading initial public offering market in the first half of 2026, as a high volume of new listings and the blockbuster debut of Sunway Healthcare Holdings Berhad strengthened its regional position.

The country recorded 36 IPOs that raised approximately US$1.34 billion during the six-month period, placing it first in Southeast Asia by both listing count and total proceeds for a second consecutive first half.
