Beijing, 12 June 2026 – Nvidia has begun pitching its new Vera central processing units to Chinese clients, marking a strategic shift as the US chip giant seeks fresh growth in China despite continuing restrictions on advanced artificial intelligence processors.
The company has told Chinese customers that Vera CPUs for AI data centres could be available as soon as August, with clients now able to begin placing orders.
