Kuala Lumpur, 26 August 2026 – World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) has received the MICE and Business Events Venue Award at the World Islamic Tourism & Trade Awards (WITA) 2026, reinforcing its position as a key platform for conferences, exhibitions and corporate gatherings in Malaysia.
The award was presented at Dewan Merdeka on 24 August by Dato’ Seri Dr Mohd Khalid bin Harun, President of the Malaysia Tourism Agency Association. It recognises WTCKL’s contribution to the development of Malaysia’s Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) industry and its role in attracting high-profile local and international events.
