TP-Link and TAR UMT Partner to Build Enterprise Networking Talent

TP-Link Malaysia and TAR UMT have signed a three-year partnership to give students hands-on enterprise networking exposure, certification pathways and internships.

Kuala Lumpur, 22 September 2026 – TP-Link Malaysia has signed a three-year partnership with Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology to put enterprise networking technology inside the university’s learning environment, linking classroom training with the equipment and certification pathways used by employers.

Under the memorandum of understanding, TP-Link will deploy its Omada enterprise networking solutions for hands-on learning. Students will also gain access to technical workshops, industry knowledge-sharing and the Omada Certified Network Administrator pathway. Internships and industrial training are planned to give participants exposure to workplace practices beyond laboratory exercises.
