TNG Digital reports 8.5 million GOfinance users, but investors still need evidence that engagement and cross-selling translate into durable returns.

Kuala Lumpur, 22 September 2026 – TNG Digital says its GOfinance hub reached 8.5 million financial-services users as of 31 August, signalling that Malaysia’s most widely used e-wallet is moving further beyond payments. The company put year-on-year growth at about 22% and said more than four million users conduct financial transactions through the hub each month. These are company-reported platform metrics, not audited revenue or profit figures. The investor question is whether a large audience can be converted into sustainable, suitable use of savings, insurance, financing and remittance products.

GOfinance sits within a TNG eWallet base of more than 27 million users, so roughly one in three users has engaged with the financial hub by the company’s account. TNG Digital also said close to 46% of GOfinance users use more than one financial product. Cross-use can deepen relationships and improve distribution efficiency, but the headline numbers do not show how much each product earns, how often customers return or whether usage remains strong after an initial promotion.
