SAN FRANCISCO, 18 October 2025 — Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) and Google have expanded their strategic partnership, unveiling a new wave of AI innovations designed to transform the enterprise landscape. The collaboration integrates Google’s Gemini models with Salesforce’s newly launched Agentforce 360 Platform, setting a new standard for intelligent and connected enterprise solutions.
The enhanced partnership focuses on boosting employee productivity through deeper integration of Agentforce 360 with Google Workspace. This expansion brings Salesforce Gemini integration, previously available in Gmail, to a wider suite of Google Workspace tools, enabling seamless, context-aware experiences across every customer and employee touchpoint.
Next-Generation AI with Gemini and Agentforce 360
Customers can now leverage Gemini models to power Salesforce’s Atlas Reasoning Engine, the core of Agentforce, expanding model choice and harnessing Gemini’s multimodal intelligence to solve complex, multistep enterprise problems. The engine’s new hybrid reasoning capability allows AI agents to deliver more accurate and consistent outcomes across business operations.
Salesforce and Google are also advancing large action models, enabling automation beyond text with fine-tuned Gemini models that outperform leading LLMs in key CRM benchmarks. These innovations allow businesses to automate complex workflows more reliably and efficiently.
“In the enterprise environment, AI agents must be highly capable and highly consistent, especially for critical use cases,” said Silvio Savarese, Chief Scientist at Salesforce. “Together, we are setting a new standard for what’s possible in the Agentic Enterprise down to the model level.”
The partnership also reinforces both companies’ commitment to open standards like Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent (A2A), which enable seamless multi-agent collaboration across platforms and domains, further strengthening Agentforce 360’s orchestration capabilities.
Creating the AI-Enabled Workforce
Building on a long history of collaboration, Salesforce and Google are bringing tighter integration between Google Workspace and Salesforce Customer 360 applications such as Agentforce Sales and Agentforce Service.
Users can now initiate personalised customer engagement directly from Gmail, schedule meetings in Google Calendar, and access CRM insights across Sheets, Docs, Drive, Slides, and Meet.
The new Agentforce IT Service solution also integrates with Google tools to improve IT service delivery, automate Workspace access, manage ChromeOS device security, and analyse IT service trends with Looker.
“The deeper integration of Google Workspace with Gemini and Salesforce has the power to fundamentally improve how teams get work done,” said George Kwon, VP of Product Management for Google Workspace Platform and Growth. “This collaboration unifies critical business information with AI assistance, helping teams work smarter and faster from the tools they use every day.”
