At 6pm Malaysia time, the ringgit was quoted at RM4.0565–RM4.0610 per US dollar, against RM4.0445–RM4.0490 at Thursday’s close. The move came a day after Bank Negara Malaysia held its overnight policy rate at 2.75%.
