Kuala Lumpur, 22 September 2026 – OGX Group Berhad is entering Malaysia’s renewable-energy equipment market through a distribution appointment with Chinese energy-storage and inverter specialist Zhejiang Hyxi Technology. The move gives the IT infrastructure company a route into battery systems at a time when data-centre operators are weighing how to secure reliable power while reducing dependence on conventional backup generation.

The new activity will sit in wholly owned subsidiary OGX Green Tech, which has been appointed an authorised distributor of HYXI products in Malaysia. OGX said the range covers battery energy storage systems, inverters and batteries for residential as well as commercial and industrial customers. The company also intends to pursue data-centre demand, extending beyond the enterprise networking and infrastructure products that established its core business.
