Malaysia Must Turn Uncertainty Into Structural Advantage, Says Economy Minister

Kuala Lumpur, 9 June 2026 – Malaysia must turn global uncertainty into a structural advantage by staying committed to policy execution, strengthening resilience and channeling capital into higher-value industries, Economy Minister YB Tuan Haji Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir said at Invest Malaysia 2026.

Speaking during a session titled Navigating External Uncertainties, Strengthening Resilience, moderated by CIMB Group chief executive officer Novan Amirudin, Akmal said 2026 has been framed as a year of execution as Malaysia prepares to roll out the 13th Malaysia Plan.
