Paris, 11 June 2026 – Deezer has launched a free online tool that allows users of major music streaming platforms to detect AI-generated tracks in their playlists, as the global music industry faces rising concern over synthetic content, streaming fraud and artist compensation.
The French music streaming platform said the new public-facing tool is part of its broader effort to promote transparency in digital music. It allows users beyond Deezer’s own platform to check whether their playlists contain tracks created by artificial intelligence, widening access to AI detection at a time when synthetic music is becoming increasingly common.
