Jeonju, 17 September 2026 – The ASEAN-Korea Centre has opened its third ASEAN Hall in South Korea, extending its cultural-exchange network to Jeonju and the Honam region. The permanent venue brings ASEAN’s cultural diversity into a city known for its traditional heritage, creating a platform for sustained engagement rather than a one-off exhibition.
Located at the Korea Traditional Culture Centre, the hall follows venues in Seoul and Jeju. Its inaugural exhibition, ASEAN: Where Hands Bridge Time, features about 70 traditional artefacts from all 11 ASEAN member states, including textiles, masks, musical instruments and shadow puppets. The initiative is a cultural cooperation project, not an announcement of a new trade agreement.
