Hong Leong Asia First-Half Profit Jumps 64.1% as Engines and Construction Materials Accelerate

Singapore, 12 August 2026 – Hong Leong Asia recorded a 64.1% year-on-year increase in net profit to S$91.9 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026, as stronger engine volumes and higher construction-material sales lifted group performance.

Net profit rose from S$56 million in the corresponding period, while revenue increased 17.6% to S$3.13 billion from S$2.66 billion. Earnings per share climbed to S$0.1204 from S$0.0749, showing that the expansion translated into a materially stronger return for shareholders during the half.
