Eita Resources Secures RM62.3 Million Kelana Jaya Line Upgrade Contract

Kuala Lumpur, 12 August 2026 – Eita Resources Bhd has secured a RM62.3 million works contract from Prasarana Malaysia Bhd to upgrade lifts and escalators across part of the Kelana Jaya light rail network, adding a four-year infrastructure assignment to the Malaysian engineering group’s order book.

The award was accepted by wholly owned subsidiary EITA Elevator (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. It covers existing lifts and escalators at stations stretching from Gombak to Kelana Jaya, as well as equipment at the Subang depot. The scope places the company inside one of the Klang Valley’s busiest public-transport corridors, where equipment reliability and passenger movement are central operating priorities.
