Seoul, 21 October 2026 – South Korean artificial-intelligence cloud company Elice fell as much as 33% on its stock-market debut after raising KRW201 billion, or about US$151 million, in an initial public offering priced at KRW90,500 a share. The stock traded as low as KRW61,000 before recovering to around KRW64,000, valuing the company at more than KRW1 trillion.

Elice attracted retail demand of roughly 400 times the available shares, yet that enthusiasm did not prevent a sharp first-day decline. The gap between subscription demand and secondary-market performance is a reminder that scarcity during an offering does not remove valuation risk.
