PETALING JAYA, 12 November 2025 – Canon Marketing Malaysia (Canon) successfully concluded the Think Big Klang Valley Series 2025 at Sheraton Petaling Jaya, convening business leaders, policymakers, and innovators to explore how smart technologies can drive productivity, resilience, and sustainable growth in Malaysia’s digital-first economy.

Held under the theme “Future-Ready Malaysia: Innovation, Resilience, Growth,” the forum marked the grand finale of Canon’s nationwide Think Big 2025 series, following successful editions in Johor Bahru, Penang, and Putrajaya.

YB Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital, delivered the keynote address, “Future Ready Malaysia: Unlocking ASEAN’s AI Advantages,” reaffirming the government’s commitment to advancing Malaysia’s digital transformation and innovation agenda.

The forum also featured a fireside chat and panel discussion where thought leaders shared strategies for automating processes, optimising performance, and innovating sustainably in the age of AI and digital transformation. Key speakers included Dr. Jasmine Begum, Non-Executive Chairperson of MIMOS Berhad, and Alan Tan, Chief Economist of Affin Bank Group, who discussed Malaysia’s readiness for an AI-powered future and strategies to build long-term business resilience.

“As Malaysia continues its digital transformation journey, Canon remains committed to helping organisations unlock new efficiencies through AI, automation, and cloud-enabled solutions,” said Masato Yoshiie, President and CEO of Canon Marketing Malaysia. “Through Think Big, we aim to empower businesses to think bigger, innovate faster, and create sustainable impact in a rapidly evolving economy.”

Vincent Low, Head of Business Imaging Solution Centre, Canon Marketing Malaysia, added, “Malaysia’s leadership in AI and cloud innovation reflects a strong national drive toward a digital-first future. At Canon, we’re proud to partner with businesses by providing smart, scalable technologies that simplify workflows, boost efficiency, and future-proof operations.”

To complement the leadership discussions, Canon showcased its latest smart business solutions designed to enhance workflow automation, data security, and operational performance. A key highlight was the launch of the imageFORCE multi-function device (MFD) series, Canon’s next-generation system featuring AI-assisted maintenance, intelligent data capture, and predictive analytics for maximum uptime and efficiency.

Built on Canon’s four pillars, Security, Reliability, Connectivity, and Sustainability, the imageFORCE series helps businesses operate smarter and more responsibly, integrating advanced security and cloud capabilities to support seamless collaboration across hybrid work environments.

These innovations underscore Canon’s ongoing commitment to Malaysia’s digitalisation goals, empowering enterprises to adopt smart, secure, and scalable technologies that drive growth and resilience.

As Malaysia accelerates toward a digital-first future, the Think Big Klang Valley Series 2025 reaffirmed Canon’s role as a trusted technology partner, enabling local businesses to innovate, adapt, and thrive through collaboration and innovation.

The Think Big Leadership Business Series, launched in Singapore in 2010, continues to inspire business leaders across the region with forward-looking strategies and actionable insights on how innovation and technology can drive sustainable growth.

Norihiro Katagiri, Senior Vice President of Canon Singapore, also shared his vision on how Canon’s new imageFORCE series empowers businesses to innovate, enhance productivity, and move towards a future-ready Malaysia.
