Caction and PIKM Sign MoU to Accelerate Digital Transformation in Malaysia’s Security Industry

KUALA LUMPUR, 16 October 2025Caction has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Persatuan Industri Keselamatan Malaysia (PIKM) to advance digital transformation and enhance operational excellence across Malaysia’s security industry.

John Lee, Chief Executive Officer of Caction, said the partnership underscores the company’s mission to help security firms build client trust in an increasingly digital environment.

“At Caction, we aim to help security companies strengthen their credibility and efficiency through digital innovation,” he said. “This MoU reflects our commitment to uniting technology providers and security service companies, combining innovation and expertise to accelerate the industry’s transformation. We work closely with Microsoft technologies including Azure, Fabric analytics, and AI tools, to ensure enterprise-grade security, scalability, and a clear roadmap for evolving business needs.”

The collaboration, supported by Microsoft Malaysia, will provide PIKM members access to advanced digital solutions that enhance efficiency, transparency, and business growth.

Shah Jahankhir bin Hameed, Vice President of PIKM, said the partnership comes at a critical time for the industry.

“We are excited that this collaboration will allow us to tap into smart data and digital technologies as we navigate strict regulatory demands, fragmented training standards, and other challenges,” he said. “By leveraging technology partnerships, we can elevate the professionalism and performance of Malaysia’s security sector.”

Having recently received the Malaysia Digital Acceleration Grant – Artificial Intelligence (MDAG-AI) from MDEC, Caction plans to expand its portfolio of AI-driven solutions for service-based businesses across multiple industries.
