Singapore, 6 November 2026 – Singapore Post Limited reported net profit of S$55.9 million for the six months ended 30 September 2026, up 183.7% from a year earlier. The gain came largely from the sale and leaseback of 10 Housing and Development Board post office shophouses. Revenue fell 1.3% to S$185.9 million, so the rise in reported profit was not accompanied by higher group sales.

For Asian investors, the results offer two different views of the business. The property transaction lifted the reported bottom line, while domestic parcel growth and tighter costs helped improve operations. Underlying net profit rose to S$11.5 million, though it also benefited from a tax provision write-back. The main question is how much of the improvement can carry forward as letter volumes continue to shrink.
