Kuala Lumpur, 8 October 2026 – HI Mobility Berhad’s wholly owned subsidiary Handal Indah Sdn Bhd has received a non-binding letter of intent from the Land Public Transport Agency for a proposed role as network operator under the Stage Bus Service Transformation programme in Johor Bahru. The proposed operating period runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 March 2031, but the announcement stops short of a contract award.

The letter creates a basis for discussions with APAD, an agency under the Ministry of Transport, towards Handal Indah’s continued participation in the programme. Service scope, contractual terms, contract value and other relevant matters remain to be developed and formalised before any letter of acceptance is issued. For investors, that makes this a prospective operating opportunity rather than secured revenue.
