Sum Technology to Acquire 51% Stake in INI Technologies

Sum Technology will acquire 51% of INI Technologies for RM2 million, broadening its engineering portfolio into security, analytics and automation.

Kuala Lumpur, 23 September 2026 – Sum Technology Berhad has agreed to acquire a 51% stake in INI Technologies Sdn Bhd for RM2 million in cash, extending the group’s engineering capabilities into security systems, video analytics, access control and automation.

The proposed acquisition will be funded through internally generated funds and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to the fulfilment of conditions in the share sale agreement. Upon completion, INI Technologies will become a 51%-owned subsidiary of Sum Technology.
