Singapore, 18 August 2026 – Digital infrastructure platform DayOne has secured a four-year S$530 million green loan to finance a new data centre in Singapore, linking the region’s AI and cloud expansion with a more demanding test of energy efficiency.
The facility is designed to be Singapore’s first data centre to feature on-site solid-oxide fuel-cell power generation. The project will explore hydrogen-based energy solutions while providing the computing capacity required by artificial intelligence, cloud services and 5G networks.
