Kuala Lumpur, 21 October 2026 – SkyeChip Berhad has entered a design and engineering collaboration with Japan-based SAIMEMORY Corporation to support its Z-Angle Memory programme for artificial-intelligence computing. SkyeChip will contribute engineering services and custom intellectual-property solutions to the next-generation memory project, which targets data centres running large-scale AI training and inference workloads.

The collaboration matters to Asian businesses and investors because memory bandwidth and electricity use are becoming central constraints on AI infrastructure. The agreement confirms SkyeChip’s role in the development programme, but it does not yet establish commercial production, customer orders or revenue. Those outcomes will depend on technical validation, manufacturing readiness and adoption by chip and data-centre operators.
