Steven Sim Urges SMEs to Stay United as Malaysia Pushes RM15 Billion Financing Drive

KUALA LUMPUR, 26 May 2026 – Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development YB Steven Sim Chee Keong has called on Malaysia’s small and medium enterprises to stay resilient, united and confident as the country navigates an increasingly difficult global economic environment.

Speaking at the SME Malaysia Platinum Business Award 2026, Sim congratulated SME Association of Malaysia on its 30th anniversary, describing the milestone as a reflection of three decades of service to the SME community and contribution to Malaysia’s economy.
