Last updated on December 25, 2025

KUALA LUMPUR: RYT Bank, Malaysia’s first fully AI-powered digital bank, is gearing up for its official launch on 26 August 2025, promising early customers an enhanced digital banking experience with exclusive rewards and promotions.

Backed by YTL Digital Capital Sdn Bhd and Sea Limited, RYT Bank aims to redefine banking with integrated AI tools that streamline savings, payments, and financial management. Ahead of the rollout, the bank has introduced several perks under its Early Access campaign, designed to attract both retail customers and digital-savvy professionals.

Attractive Savings and Daily Flexibility

Customers can earn 4.0% per annum on funds parked in Save Pockets, compared to the standard base rate of 3.0% p.a.. The additional 1.0% bonus rate applies to the first RM20,000 saved and is valid from 18 August to 30 November 2025. Interest is calculated daily with no lock-in period, offering savers flexibility and convenience.

Unlimited Cashback and Fee Waivers

RYT Bank’s debit card offers 1.2% unlimited cashback on all in-store overseas spending, credited directly to the Save Pocket within 14 working days. The bank is also waiving its 2% foreign transaction fee until 30 November 2025, while overseas ATM withdrawals are set at RM12 per transaction.

Customers receive a virtual debit card instantly upon sign-up, with the option to request a physical card at no cost, as the issuance fee has been waived during the promotional period.

AI-Powered Banking with Rewards

A key differentiator is Ryt AI, the bank’s chatbot assistant that helps users prepare and execute transactions. To encourage adoption, customers receive RM1 for every RM10 transaction made through Ryt AI, up to five times per user (maximum RM5 reward).

Upcoming features include JomPAY integration, where users can snap a photo of their bill and let Ryt AI auto-fill the transaction details, further enhancing ease of use.

Lifestyle Perks

RYT Bank customers also enjoy 20% off dine-in bills at select YTL Hotels restaurants and The Starhill Dining, adding a lifestyle element to the bank’s launch strategy.

Commenting on the launch, YTL Power International Berhad highlighted:

“RYT Bank will be Malaysia’s first truly AI-driven digital bank, designed to simplify financial services while rewarding customers with smarter savings, seamless transactions, and lifestyle benefits.”
