OIB Launches RM163.8 Million Gardens Idaman to Expand GreenRE-Certified Affordable Housing in Selangor

Rawang, 17 August 2026 – Property developer Oriental Interest Berhad (OIB) has officially launched Gardens Idaman, a RM163.8 million Gross Development Value (GDV) affordable housing project in Rawang under Selangor’s state-backed Rumah Idaman programme, integrating sustainable building standards into mass-market residential developments.

Marketed under OIB’s residential brand Myra, the leasehold development spans 11.226 acres and comprises 616 semi-furnished apartment units scheduled for handover in 2030. Designed as a gated and guarded community tailored for first-time homebuyers and growing families, each unit offers a built-up area of 1,002 square feet featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two allocated parking bays, with unit prices ranging between RM250,000 and RM270,000.
