Kuala Lumpur, 28 October 2026 – Malaysian advanced-materials company Vertex Material has unveiled a US$2.2 billion (approximately RM9.3 billion), 15-year offtake agreement with US-based Sky-Dweller Construction LLC, extending their copper-composite materials partnership into India as the company prepares for international manufacturing expansion. The announcement was made at a signing ceremony at W Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, witnessed by Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Datuk Chang Lih Kang, with Nasdaq Vice Chairman Bob McCooey also in attendance.

Both plans remain subject to financing, regulatory requirements and other approvals, making commercial execution a key consideration as the company expands beyond Malaysia.
