New York, 16 July 2026 – JPMorgan Chase Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon has warned that the cybersecurity risks associated with Anthropic’s powerful Mythos artificial intelligence model represent a “real issue”, reinforcing concerns that frontier AI capabilities could transform both cyber defence and digital attacks.
Speaking at a defence and innovation summit in Pennsylvania, Dimon said access to advanced AI capabilities must be tightly controlled because of the potential damage that could arise if powerful systems fall into the wrong hands.
