New York, 23 July 2026 – Gold advanced to its highest level in two weeks as a softer US dollar and renewed technical buying encouraged investors to rebuild positions ahead of the Federal Reserve’s upcoming policy decision.
Spot gold rose 1.7% to approximately US$4,145 an ounce during the session after touching an intraday high of US$4,165.87, its strongest level since July 7. US gold futures for August delivery settled 1.9% higher at US$4,151.90 an ounce.
