DPS Resources Subsidiary Signs MOU for 89MW Melaka Data Centre Project with HKEX-Listed Partner

Kuala Lumpur, 12 August 2026 – Property developer and manufacturing outfit DPS Resources Berhad has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shantawood Sdn. Bhd., has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with BBSB Holdings Sdn. Bhd. for the proposed phased lease, development, and deployment of a data centre facility with an initial capacity of up to 89 megawatts in Melaka.

Under the proposed collaboration with BBSB Holdings, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed BBSB International Limited, the parties intend to explore an initial 89MW phased capacity lease, with potential expansion up to an aggregate capacity of 400MW subject to technical feasibility, regulatory approvals, and definitive agreements. BBSB will participate as a strategic partner to support the planning, infrastructure deployment, and coordination of potential tenants, off-takers, and capacity requirements.
