Kuala Lumpur, 12 August 2026 – Bursa Malaysia plans to unveil a new 2027–2030 strategic roadmap in the fourth quarter, setting out how the exchange intends to deepen participation, broaden products and strengthen its role in financing national growth.
The roadmap will arrive as Malaysia’s capital market enters a new policy cycle. The Securities Commission’s Capital Market Masterplan 2026–2030 projects the market could expand at a compound annual rate of 6% to 8%, reaching RM5.8 trillion to RM6.3 trillion by 2030 from RM4.3 trillion in 2025. Bursa’s own plan will need to translate that national ambition into exchange-level execution.
