Kuala Lumpur, 4 November 2026 – Many large organisations in Asia-Pacific say they are confident in their artificial intelligence progress, yet relatively few report redesigning how entire teams work around the technology, according to a new survey commissioned by Avanade. The findings highlight a gap between adoption and organisational change at a time when companies are under pressure to show that AI investment is delivering business value.
The study surveyed 3,600 business decision-makers across 11 markets, including 1,400 respondents in Asia-Pacific. Participants worked at organisations with more than US$500 million in annual global revenue and represented several major industries. The fieldwork was conducted in August and September 2026 by an independent research specialist, with the report released by Avanade. The results therefore describe respondent perceptions rather than an audited measure of company-wide AI performance.
