AT&S Commits Up to €2 Billion to Malaysia Expansion as AI Infrastructure Demand Surges

VIENNA, 15 June 2026 — Austrian printed circuit board manufacturer AT&S plans to invest up to €2 billion (US$2.3 billion) in Malaysia, expanding its operations in Kulim to capitalise on accelerating global demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure.

The announcement sent AT&S shares soaring nearly 30%, with the stock reaching a record high of €200 before trading 28.5% higher at €199 during Monday’s session.
