Kuala Lumpur, 09 October 2025 — Ramssol Group Berhad (“Ramssol”), through its wholly owned subsidiary RAMS PeopleTech Sdn. Bhd., has been officially appointed as a regional distributor for Tencent Cloud Services in Southeast Asia, marking a major milestone in the Malaysian tech company’s expansion into regional AI and cloud ecosystems.

The appointment by Tencent Cloud, the cloud business of China’s technology giant Tencent Holdings Ltd, solidifies Ramssol’s strategic role in advancing Tencent Cloud’s reach across key Southeast Asian markets, including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The collaboration will see Ramssol spearhead the rollout of Tencent’s next-generation AI-powered cloud technologies across multiple industries.

A Regional Leap in Digital Cloud Distribution

The appointment aligns closely with the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) framework, which promotes cross-border digital trade and collaboration across the Asia-Pacific region. By becoming a Tencent Cloud distributor, Ramssol strengthens its role in enabling regional digital integration and the delivery of advanced AI and cloud services.

“This is not just a distributorship, it’s a partnership in shaping Southeast Asia’s digital future,” said Datuk Wira Ts. Cllement Tan, Group Managing Director of Ramssol. “We aim to build the capabilities necessary to become Tencent Cloud’s first Migration Service Platform (MSP) Provider beyond China. Our focus is to elevate AI and cloud service standards, supporting enterprises as they adopt and scale mission-critical systems powered by Tencent Cloud’s world-class infrastructure.”

Ramssol’s distributorship covers the full lifecycle of Tencent Cloud solutions, encompassing build, support, optimization, and growth phases, and includes over 400 Tencent Cloud technologies ranging from IaaS, PaaS, AI, IoT, Big Data, Blockchain, and DevOps to advanced AI services such as voice, image, and facial recognition. With a network of over 3,200 acceleration nodes in more than 70 countries, Tencent Cloud’s infrastructure will be deployed through RAMS PeopleTech’s localized service teams to ensure seamless regional delivery and support.

Launching with AI Digital Humans

The first initiative under this partnership is the introduction of Tencent Cloud’s AI Digital Human (Digital Avatar) solution, a state-of-the-art system that combines voice interaction, 3D modeling, motion capture, and text-to-speech synthesis to create hyper-realistic virtual humans capable of natural communication and expression.

These digital avatars are designed for use across diverse applications, from virtual teachers, customer service agents, and digital brand ambassadors to news anchors and voice assistants, enabling businesses to reduce production costs while enhancing engagement and brand identity.

Following the debut of AI Digital Humans, Ramssol will progressively deploy Tencent Cloud’s wider suite of AI-driven industry solutions across fintech, healthcare, education, retail, logistics, and public sector transformation.

Strengthening Regional Digital Infrastructure

The collaboration not only enhances Ramssol’s growth prospects but also supports Tencent Cloud’s global strategy to deepen its presence in Asia. It represents a strong endorsement of Malaysia’s position as a regional digital hub for AI, cloud computing, and data-driven innovation.

Ramssol will offer localized service-level agreements (SLAs), post-go-live support, and consulting services to ensure enterprise clients in Southeast Asia receive tailored solutions that meet local regulatory and business requirements.

“Tencent Cloud’s solutions extend far beyond basic infrastructure,” Datuk Wira Ts. Clement Tan added. “They enable intelligent transformation through AI, Big Data, and vertical SaaS applications. Our mission is to make these capabilities accessible, supported, and scalable for diverse markets across ASEAN.”

As digitalization accelerates, this partnership positions Ramssol as a pivotal player in delivering next-generation AI and cloud infrastructure that underpins Southeast Asia’s transition into a smarter, interconnected economy.
