Victoria Beckham Shines at Netflix Documentary Premiere in London Amid Family Absence and Spice Girls Reunion

LONDON, 08 October 2025 — Victoria Beckham celebrated the long-awaited premiere of her new Netflix documentary Victoria Beckham in London on Tuesday night, a glittering event that brought together family, friends and fellow Spice Girls, though notably missing was her eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham.

The three-part series chronicles Beckham’s evolution from pop icon to fashion designer, offering rare insight into her personal struggles, including her battle with body image and the challenges of building her fashion empire.

Joined by her husband Sir David Beckham and their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, Victoria, 51, appeared radiant in a white gown from her own collection at the Curzon Mayfair premiere. The family later continued celebrations at the private members’ club 5 Hertford Street.

Despite the absence of Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz, who were previously present at David Beckham’s own Netflix documentary premiere two years ago, Victoria expressed her gratitude to all her children, saying, “My children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, Harper and David… It has taken this process to realise I am enough.”

A highlight of the evening was a mini Spice Girls reunion, with Geri Halliwell-Horner, Emma Bunton and Melanie Chisholm attending to support their former bandmate. Melanie Brown, currently in the United States, sent flowers and her well-wishes.

Other celebrity guests included actress Eva Longoria, designers Tom Ford and Roland Mouret, as well as Victoria’s parents, Jackie and Tony Adams.

The documentary delves into Beckham’s early career pressures, her experiences with media scrutiny, and her candid reflections on battling an eating disorder. She recalls being body-shamed as a young performer and weighed on national television shortly after giving birth to Brooklyn in 1999 — a moment she now calls “painful.”

“It really affects you when you’re told constantly that you’re not good enough,” she says in the series. “That’s been with me my whole life.”

The series also captures the tense preparations for her Paris Fashion Week show in 2024, and her fears of losing her fashion label after years of financial strain. “I almost lost everything and that was a dark, dark time,” Beckham admits.

Victoria Beckham will stream globally on Netflix later this week.
