Kuala Lumpur, 4 November 2026 – Sorento Capital reported higher revenue and net profit for the first quarter of its 2027 financial year, supported by stronger project sales, while dealer sales remained below the level recorded a year earlier. The group generated RM47.3 million in revenue for the three months, up 7.3% year on year, and posted net profit of RM8.2 million, a 2.5% increase.

Project sales contributed RM19 million, rising 30.1% from the corresponding quarter. Dealer sales were RM28.1 million, compared with RM29.1 million a year earlier. The mix points to firmer project demand offsetting a softer dealer channel, though the company’s statement did not establish that the project growth will continue at the same pace in subsequent quarters.
