Singapore, 21 October 2026 – DayOne Data Centers is considering delaying its United States initial public offering or reducing the proposed size to about US$2.5 billion to US$3 billion from an earlier target of up to US$5 billion, according to people familiar with the deliberations. The decision matters to Asian investors because DayOne operates and develops data centres across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong and Japan, tying its financing to the region’s artificial-intelligence infrastructure build-out. The alternatives remain under review, and no final size, valuation or launch date has been set.
