Mountain View, 5 October 2026 – Google has raised the United States price of its Pixel 10a by US$100, turning a value-focused smartphone into a visible example of how rising component costs and tighter hardware margins are reshaping consumer-device economics.
The 128-gigabyte model now starts at US$599, up from its US$499 launch price, while the 256-gigabyte version costs US$699 instead of US$599. The new pricing is already reflected at Google’s own store and major retailers. The increase comes only months after the handset’s launch, an unusual step for a device that has not received a corresponding hardware upgrade.
