Kuala Lumpur, 1 October 2026 – Women-led enterprises generated RM229 million in potential export sales through the inaugural Women in Export pavilion at MIHAS 2026, according to a statement from Malaysia’s trade promotion agency. The figure covers pre-arranged business matching and the four-day exhibition; it represents projected opportunities, not revenue already booked or contracts confirmed.

The programme arranged 215 business-to-business meetings between Malaysian entrepreneurs and buyers or distributors from markets including Egypt, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia and Myanmar. Together, those contacts give participants a wider route to overseas customers, although the release does not state how many meetings produced signed orders.
