Bangkok, 28 September 2026 – Asset World Corp is considering a large Thai real estate investment trust built around hospitality and office properties, a possible route for recycling capital into further development. Recent accounts of management’s plans put the potential fundraising at at least US$1 billion and describe a portfolio of four hotels and an office building. Those amounts are targets associated with a proposed transaction, not proceeds already raised. Investors should wait for formal filings, asset valuations and a final timetable before treating the REIT as a completed listing.
The company is a listed Thai property developer with a substantial portfolio across hotels, lifestyle destinations and commercial workplaces, as described in its Stock Exchange of Thailand profile. A REIT structure could allow income-producing assets to be held in a vehicle with a different investor base while the parent retains capacity to fund expansion. The economic benefit depends on the price paid for the assets, the ownership interest retained and how much cash actually returns to the listed company after transaction costs and any debt treatment.
