Bangkok, 25 September 2026 – The Stock Exchange of Thailand and the New York Stock Exchange have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore dual listings and a wider range of cross-border investment products. The agreement was signed in New York on 24 September, with Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul present. It creates a framework for cooperation; it does not mean a Thai company has already secured a New York listing or that a new fund is ready to trade.
The two exchanges identified five areas of work: dual listings, development and cross-listing of exchange-traded funds, market data and index products, environmental, social and governance products and services, and an exchange of information and expertise. The breadth of the agenda matters because access to capital depends on more than a listing venue. Products, benchmarks, disclosure standards and distribution all shape whether global investors can participate efficiently.
