Kuala Lumpur, 27 August 2026 – Malaysia’s premier retail commercial banking group, Public Bank Berhad, reported a resilient and disciplined financial performance for the second quarter ended 30 June 2026, delivering steady pre-tax profit expansion anchored by robust consumer loan growth, healthy deposit expansion, and class-leading credit asset quality that reaffirmed the group’s reputation as one of the safest and most efficient financial institutions in the Asia-Pacific.
